What we found

Desk review: Assessed from the 2024 Sustainability Report (the latest full-year report) plus the 2025 Environmental Statement and Sustainability Policy. The Shift to Zero strategy targets a 50% carbon reduction by 2030 and net zero by 2040 under the UNFCCC Sports for Climate Action Framework (not SBTi-validated). Scope 1 cut 61% by switching the diesel fleet to HVO biofuel; Scope 2 reduced to zero on 100% renewable electricity, with 2,764 on-site solar panels now supplying about 18% of annual demand. ISO 14001 and ISO 20121 certified, FIA 3-star environmental accreditation, Greengage ECOsmart Platinum, and a Sport for Nature signatory; placed 3rd in the 2024 Sustainable Circuits Index. Weaker on waste (44% recycling, target 60%) and documented catering sourcing; the ~93,071 tCO2e total is dominated by Scope 3 spectator travel.
